It is very fun for my students to play the game !!!

My students played the game about Digital Addiction which was prepared by our partner Gözde KAYA.

They enjoyed themselves very much and also they had the chance to see their friends' anwers. So that, they discussed the topic. It was both enjoyable and educational.

 My students decided on their proposed logo!

I told my students to create logos about our eTwinning project and they all made logos. They were all beautiful but we had to choose one. So, I prepared and carried out a survey to choose our candidate logo as Ortaköy Şehit Rifat Kahyaoğlu Anatolian High School. Above is our proposed logo. Good Luck to everyone !!

International Student Meeting in “Disconnect to Reconnect” Project

 

Students from our school, as partners in the “Disconnect to Reconnect” eTwinning project, participated in an online introductory meeting with peers from Romania, Slovakia, Spain, and Serbia. A total of 17 partner schools are involved in the project.

During the meeting, students introduced themselves and discussed the issue of digital addiction. They shared their technology use habits and raised awareness about maintaining a balanced digital life.

This international collaboration helps students improve their communication skills while promoting cultural exchange and responsible technology use.

WORD CLOUDS

This activity was very useful and enjoyable for my students.In the first week ,I divided the students into groups.They worked together, brainstormed, and tried to write their ideas about the cause and the effect of the digital addiction, and meaning of it.Later we chose the group leader and that student wrote the information on padlet on twinspace.

My students also replied the survey which was prepared by our partners.

Before starting word cloud activity, I showed them how to create word clouds using word art. They did a lot of activities like group work, brainstorming. After brainstorming about digital addiction, my students created their own word clouds on our smart boards. They worked in groups of four or five to do this activity.Then I gave homework to do their own word art at home.

We also worked on "Mentimeter" .I created two menti surveys.One of them was about the cause and effects of the digital addiction, the other one was about the solutions to it.They wrote down their ideas on menti,so our menti cloud was created .

In the second week, we played games to analyse the theme better.We used Wayground(Quizizz) online test.I also share the link with the other partners to play it at home.We will gather the results later, when the deadline is over.

To learn the vocabulary better, I used Quizlet for the students.It was very enjoyable to learn the words via this tool.My students practised them at home, too.It helped them make good sentences.
